Once upon a time, we were the kids whose parents always had to check our pockets for toads. When other kids wanted to step on ants, we wanted to shrink down to their size and see just where their holes led. Our Sunday dresses were filthy before we even reached the car, and spotting a spider was an occasion to celebrate instead of fear. 

So many years later, here we are, making our living raising isopods and more. Some would say that we never grew up; and we’re willing to admit that they’re probably right. However, we believe that enjoyment of the natural world is a passion which does not know age, only experience.
